Join us for a virtual workshop hosted by the Community of Practice for the region of Latin America and the Caribbean that explores rethinking the design for programs in this region.
Design Thinking and Programs in Latin America and the Caribbean: Using Faculty, Staff and Student Reflections to Re-think Program Design
Thursday June 22 at 2:00pm ET 


This interactive workshop is aimed to assist Education Abroad professionals reflect on survey data to consider new, creative opportunities for program development. By rethinking student needs and trends, this virtual workshop will explore the design thinking process and its application to the field of international education. The Community of Practice for the Region of Latin America and the Caribbean will present and reflect on the responses to the survey shared with the larger Diversity Abroad community.


Note (engagement level): This interactive workshop will be held in Zoom meeting format. Your participation is encouraged in this session however we hope that you will do so in whatever form is most comfortable for you ( ie. camera on and actively engaging, camera off and actively engaging, camera off and actively listening). We look forward to having you in this session.

  • Diversity Abroad will send an email reminder about the community discussion and access details to confirmed registrants 24 hours before the live webinar. 

  • Please note, if contacted regarding webinar access within an hour of the listed start time, Diversity Abroad may not be able to answer those requests in time for the webinar, so ensure you have registered via the webinar link provided.

  • All Community Discussions are recorded and the link to the recording and presentation slides are shared within 72 hours after the presentation and also added to the Member Resource Library available to signed-in Diversity Abroad members.
